WOYWW 124

Omg...so embarrassing! The state of my desk is just disgraceful! I'm not living up to the 'neat' reputation I had going here. LOL

But that's OK! I wanted to show you my desk anyway because there are some things on it that I'm very proud of.

First: I just got a pink ATG gun! Ah! I’m so excited!

Second: Recycling. I’m making a magazine rack out of a cereal box again. This time, I’m covering it with some packaging paper that came in a shipment I received and then I’m stamping on the paper to decorate. (That's the brown box on the right on top of the pile of stuff).
I also have a box that used to hold a roll of aluminum foil. we finished the roll and I'm going to dress up the box with scrapbooking paper and ribbon and use it as a gift box for some mini cupcakes.
      Like this:

Third: I rolled my loose ribbons and those with broken spools on to some traditional clothespins and used florist pins to keep the ribbon in place. So pretty!

Ok, now it's my turn to come around and look at your mess, I mean desk :)
Thanks for looking, see you around! ;)

  11. Wonderful upcycling ideas, esp. the foil box - I'd never have thought those could be used again for anything! You have to remember to pull of that nasty sharp edge, though, I suppose.

I think your desk looks just great. Full of lovely positive creativeness!

Happy belated WOYWW. I'm running late because I've been busy setting up my new Etsy shop.
