I'm so excited about this blog hop! I've loved Faber-Castel products for a long time and it was so much fun to combine them with my favorite DCWV textures. There’s some great prizes too- Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft and DCWV will be giving away $75 in product at the end of the hop. To win, follow the list below and leave a comment . The hop will end at 5PM EST on Friday, March 28 th . The winner will be announced on Monday, March 31 st on each of the company’s blogs. I really wanted a special page for these pictures. They give me a very HAPPY feeling and I love the sun rays coming through the trees. I wanted to mimic that in the background paper. I thought the woven craft cardstock was a great background because its a little less stark than white for these pictures. I wanted the journaling to be more private so I made it a pull tab behind this cut out tag from the Bohemian Sunrise stack. To make the background I used a DCW
Welcome to Day 2 of the DCWV and Clear Scraps blog hop! You should have come from Britt's blog: http://pinkpapercrowns.blogspot.com Thanks for making it this far! On to the project... I might have a LO or 2 about Christmas....Why? I just never get around to making more of them! The papers are Christmas Memories with a little bit of the Christmas and winter Diecut stack, the Christmas basics 6x6 & the Burlap stack. I love clear albums because I like to see the layers through the clear pages. I folded the 12x12 papers in half and cut them to create pockets for journaling a
Welcome to the DCWV / Tombow Spring Fling Blog hop. This week, DCWV and Tombow have teamed up to spread a little bit of spring fever. Both design teams are excited to show you just what we have done with the My Sunshine and Chickadee stacks from DCWV , and some amazing adhesive products from Tombow . If you have come here from Marie's blog then you're on track! I decided to make a mini book using both stacks . This one is for my nephew. Every time we tell him to say 'cheese' for the camera, he comes up with a new face :) It's adorable and it's about time I document it too. I used the Tombow Dot Stamp Roller to adhere mostly everything in the mini. I have to confess that I will be keeping this little tool on my desk from now on. I love how easy it is to get glue dots on small details. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortably it fits in my hand too. It's awesome :)) I stitched over the see-through title but used dots from the
