I'm addicted...

...to a lot of stuff but this time I'm talking about Starbucks Coffee. So when we were in Seattle, visiting the first Starbucks was a must! Here we are:                                                     My husband brings me starbucks cards as little 'just because' gifts. Especially when he sees something unique or pretty. He brought me these wood veneer cards! I think he saw my stash of wood veneer :)  I used:  Type of Art Stack  Kidlet Stack  Cork stack

Got chocked up on a video class :/

I was given a free class to review from  DailyCraft TV  and I chose a class with Lisa Bearnson called '50 Moments: Scrapbook the pages that matter the most.' You can learn about it here:  http://www.dailycrafttv.com/videos/4037_50-moments-scrapbook-the-pages-that-matter-most/  (Reg. price $4.99) Although the class was free for me, this is  my honest opinion . Nothing but the truth here ;) Wow! I LOVE her style in this class! I really felt like I was sitting across the desk from her and felt like she was talking to me :) As you know, I'm one of the growing number of scrapbookers who do not have children. I was a little thrown off at first with this class because it starts off with a heavy focus on children. However, I watched the entire thing and got a lot out of it. Basically, this class helps you  make pages about different important topics like things you believe, your comfort foods, traditions, lessons you've learned, what you do for fun & many other

The designers have combined paper from DCWV’s Sunday Afternoon and Everlasting Love stacks, together with a variety of adhesives, mists and other fantastic products from Therm O Web.  If you have come here from Alice's blog then you're on track! If not, you should go back to the DCWV blog and start the hop from there! I love summer because it's the only time I get to travel (I'm a teacher). My husband and I also got married in the summer and this summer will be our  10th anniversary !!!  I  made this mini to document our summers over the years :)       My mini book is chipboard covered with gesso & paper. I used Therm oWeb Glitter Dust spray in Pink to spray the edges of the mini book. I used this office clip to hold t

National Scrapbooking Day- The Results

Image
I made these 4 LO's to participate in a few challenges on Big Picture Classes and Shimelle's Blog.  I started a little before 10am this morning. I broadcasted live using Ustream but the chat didn't work the entire day. It said it was having trouble connecting to the server :(  We took a 2 hour lunch break and went to West Hollywood for some amazing Argentinian Empanadas. Delicious!  I got to scrapbook again for a few hours and now off to bed!  National Scrapbooking Day should become a week long celebration!  National Scrapbooking week...Sounds nice, right?

Is this hoarding? (& a giveaway)

Image
I was listening to the Paperclipping Roundtable and heard something interesting... http://www.paperclipping.com/prt156-palpitations-sometimes/   ... if your paper stack is not taller than you, then it's not hoarding .  I knew I was in trouble :p   I love paper! Can you tell? In case you're wondering...   1 .No, I don't think I'm hoarding. I will have reached my limit if I fill up my shelves in the scraproom and in the garage. Ha! But I am worried about the flammability of my house.   2 .No, that is not ALL my paper. I left out a few inches of cardstock  3 . Most of these papers are DCWV because it's my favorite and they are just that generous with their design team :)  4 . My other favorites include Dear Lizzy and Echo Park  5 .Yes, I do know who has a taller stack of paper...Erin Madsen  6 . yes, I do have a place to keep my papers and yes, they all fit ;)  7 . Yes, I also think it's time for a giveaway!         In honor of
