I just had to scrap this photo of my grandma feeding my nephew with my daughter's 'help.'
We live pretty far apart from each other, so we don't see her as much as we would like. Capturing pictures of times like these is pretty special! Even more so because she doesn't like her photo taken. I hope I won't get in trouble for posting this photo for all the internet to see :)
Hey! This is Karla from the DCWV social media design team. I'm sharing this very simple layout I made using the DCWV Lively Geos stack along with the Rose Gold Solids stack. This was a pretty simple layout because that lovely fox patterned paper really didn't need much more embellishment.
I have a process video for this layout, hope you get a chance to watch :)
Hello! I have a layout and process video for you today. I wandered out of my comfort zone and made a layout using really bright bold colors with the DCWV Neon Daydreams stack. Hope you enjoy the video!
I hope everyone had an excellent valentines day. I made this for freckled fawn's challenge last week,
I used the sweet n' sassy stack by DCWV. That background heart is made out of washi tape,
oh yeah, I made process video to go with it!
I want to show you what might be my favorite layout so far.
It's about my favorite little person and it's colorful and fun.
This is another layout made with those painted backgrounds I did a while back. I was feeling inspired and I got out paint and several embossed cardstock papers from the Embossed Brights stack. I dry brushed some red and white Martha Stewart Paint on the cardstock and it really brought out the embossed pattern. I also made some splatters with a brush and watered down white paint.
I love layers. Here, I layered prints from the Whimsical Fun 180 stack. It's so fun to layer with thin paper because even a big stack of paper stays pretty thin. I love the prints in this stack, they're adorable and versatile!
Both of these stacks can be found at AC Moore stores.
I am! Not for any romantic reasons, I just like to make cute stuff for the holiday :)
I want to show you a few valentine's day treat boxes I made using the DIY Favor Boxes stack and a few bits from the DIY Tags stack. I love the variety of favor boxes in this DIY stack. There's something for everyone! I've used them for birthdays and any kind of holiday that requires treats.
I will be using these for my girlfriends and their children. How cute is that whale?! Hope this helps you get crafty for Valentine's day :) Have a wonderful weekend!
I'm working on documenting our trip to a couple amusement parks.
This one is for Knott's. It was early December so although the decorations were up, my layouts won't be Christmas themed. However, I did use Christmas stacks for this layout. I used the DCWV Elegant Holiday and All About Christmas stacks.
Feel free to mix and match your paper stacks! I think I have the most fun using more than one stack in each layout.
Both of these stacks include patterns that are not necessarily Christmas or Holiday themed, so you can use them all year round. This layout is not particularly Christmas-themed. Although the theme park was decorated for the holidays, I only included one Christmas themed paper. I tucked the journaling in the pocket along with the map to make sure I include all the details I want to remember.
