DCWV Petal Paper Twine

Hello!
I got to play with some DCWV Petal Paper and I was so surprised to learn that paper twine is super easy to make. I cut an 1" x 36" strip of petal paper and attached it to my Sizzix Twist and Style as if it was twine. I turned the handle and pulled lightly. It works best with some tension.


It takes a little while to begin seeing the results but keep turning and adding tension until you get an even twist.

 


 

I added some leaves and flowers to my twine... 

 

Just for fun, I tried twisting 2 colors of paper. 



This would be really fun for gift wrapping.

Christmas with Clear Scraps & DCWV

I might have a LO or 2 about Christmas....Why? I just never get around to making more of them! The Holidays are usually too crazy and then I get into doing LOs of just ever day stuff or travel pics... and the holidays just get forgotten.  This year, I'm ready! I'll have the album pre-made, I just have to stick on the pictures and add some journaling! I used this 8x8 tabbed acrylic album from Clearscraps to create a Christmas mini that is ready to go.  The papers are Christmas Memories with a little bit of the Christmas and winter Diecut stack, the Christmas basics 6x6 & the Burlap stack.
