Quick challenge entry

Hey Everyone, I'm entering this page for the Paper Variety's number challenge: this was my birthday this year, it was a really nice and relaxing weekday evening at home :) I never thought of using numbers for my title, this was so interesting!  Love the Paper Variety's challenges!   I'm also entering this for the sketch challenge on the DCWV blog. It was such a fun sketch to work with!   Hope everyone is enjoying their Easter weekend!

Death Valley and Challenge

Image
In December 2009, my husband and I took a road trip to Death Valley National Park, I printed the pictures with all the intention of scrapping them and here I am getting to it in April of 2011! Man, time can really fly! This first one, I'm entering for the Paper Variety's flower challenge . I used a background paper with flowers and a big paper flowers with a brass button in the middle. This next one, I'm including because I just got the new World Traveler stack by DCWV and I love it! I was so excited about it and I finally got it! It's so vintage looking and it fits with so many of my travel photos. Tattered Time is next :) It was out of stock when I went shopping this weekend. I was so proud of myself. I walked out of Joanne's with only 3 things! That's unheard of! I'm trying really hard to use what I've got and buy only what I know I'm going to use. Can't believe the weekend is already over! Hope you all had a great one :)

I've gone shopping a few times and I got some cute stamps for like 97 cents on clearance at Joann's... too good to pass up! Besides that, my monthly spending used to be around $200 just on scrapbooking supplies! Unbelievable, right? So, next month I'm gonna do some accounting and figure out just how much I'm saving! The great thing is that I don't feel deprived of anything. I have plenty of stash! Just gotta use it up! One thing I have in mind to buy is one {or two} ...
