Death Valley and Challenge

In December 2009, my husband and I took a road trip to Death Valley National Park, I printed the pictures with all the intention of scrapping them and here I am getting to it in April of 2011! Man, time can really fly!

This first one, I'm entering for the Paper Variety's flower challenge. I used a background paper with flowers and a big paper flowers with a brass button in the middle.



This next one, I'm including because I just got the new World Traveler stack by DCWV and I love it! I was so excited about it and I finally got it! It's so vintage looking and it fits with so many of my travel photos. Tattered Time is next :) It was out of stock when I went shopping this weekend. I was so proud of myself. I walked out of Joanne's with only 3 things! That's unheard of! I'm trying really hard to use what I've got and buy only what I know I'm going to use.







Can't believe the weekend is already over! Hope you all had a great one :)

DCWV and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft

I'm so excited about this blog hop! I've loved Faber-Castel products for a long time and it was so much fun to combine them with my favorite DCWV textures. Christmas with Clear Scraps & DCWV

I might have a LO or 2 about Christmas....Why? I just never get around to making more of them! The Holidays are usually too crazy and then I get into doing LOs of just ever day stuff or travel pics... and the holidays just get forgotten.  This year, I'm ready! I'll have the album pre-made, I just have to stick on the pictures and add some journaling! I used this 8x8 tabbed acrylic album from Clearscraps to create a Christmas mini that is ready to go.  The papers are Christmas Memories with a little bit of the Christmas and winter Diecut stack, the Christmas basics 6x6 & the Burlap stack.
