Then & Now

Last Summer we got to meet a very important person in my mother in law's life. Her classmate and long-time friend. 
They met in Hong Kong when they were children and grew up together. They both left Hong Kong and kept in touch through letters and post cards. We visited her in Canada last year. They're both in their early 60's now. 
One of the first things she did was bring out a photo album that contained this old B&W photo of them. 

 

I used the Primrose stack to document this emotional reunion. 
I just have to say how much I love the texture of these papers. They're almost like fabric.
They have some accents in superfine glitter. But very tastefully done.

DCWV and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft

I'm so excited about this blog hop! I've loved Faber-Castel products for a long time and it was so much fun to combine them with my favorite DCWV textures. Christmas with Clear Scraps & DCWV

I might have a LO or 2 about Christmas....Why? I just never get around to making more of them! The Holidays are usually too crazy and then I get into doing LOs of just ever day stuff or travel pics... and the holidays just get forgotten.  This year, I'm ready! I'll have the album pre-made, I just have to stick on the pictures and add some journaling! I used this 8x8 tabbed acrylic album from Clearscraps to create a Christmas mini that is ready to go.  The papers are Christmas Memories with a little bit of the Christmas and winter Diecut stack, the Christmas basics 6x6 & the Burlap stack.
