DCWV and Spellbinders Whimsical Woodland Blog Fest

Hello!
Today, I'm up on the DCWV Blog with a fall page for the Whimsical Woodland Blog fest with Spellbinders. I got to work with these cute mushroom dies from Spellbinders. I love the texture that I got after I ran them through with the embossing plates on my artisan explorer machine.

The page with the starry sky from the Spooky Delight stack gave me a good starting point for my background. I die cut the mushrooms from the Harvest House stack and added them on the bottom as an anchoring point for my title.

I used the Spooky Delight 12x12 stack, the 6x6 Harvest House stack and the 12x12 Premium Vellum with foil stack to cut the circles. I Love the gold foil on vellum and it was tough to capture in a photo.

I'm saving this page for the photos of our first pumpkin patch visit. I don't feel the need to add pumpkin embellishments anywhere because there will be plenty of pumpkins in the photo. I've always loved mushrooms. They are super cute and as versatile as butterflies.

I will include the journaling right on top of the title and to the right of the title if I need more space. I want the whole page to flow from the moon to the mushrooms.

The circles with the words in them are the tag pages you can cut apart in the Harvest House 6x6 stack.

I put my circle die right over the tags, washi taped it and ran it through my artisan explorer. I like being able to see exactly what I'm going to diecut.

Having them peek out around and over  my  photo will give my page more interest and connection to the title.

Thanks for making it this far! Make sure you go to the DCWV Blog to enter the giveaway and get a coupon code to use on the purchase of the woodland dies.
