Painted Backgrounds: Play

Hello!
Today I have another mixed media layout. I used the DCWV Embossed Brights stack which you can find at AC Moore. 



I used some white and gold Martha Stewart Crafts paint on the background to bring out the embossed design. 
I layered some papers from the DCWV Whimsical Fun stack behind the photo and made some embellishment clusters with various embellishments from my stash.
I watered down a bit of paint and added some paint splatters on a diagonal across the page. 


 I felt like doing some messy backgrounds. So I made this one and 2 others to satisfy my creative craving.

DCWV and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft

I'm so excited about this blog hop! I've loved Faber-Castel products for a long time and it was so much fun to combine them with my favorite DCWV textures. Christmas with Clear Scraps & DCWV

I might have a LO or 2 about Christmas....Why? I just never get around to making more of them! The Holidays are usually too crazy and then I get into doing LOs of just ever day stuff or travel pics... and the holidays just get forgotten.  This year, I'm ready! I'll have the album pre-made, I just have to stick on the pictures and add some journaling! I used this 8x8 tabbed acrylic album from Clearscraps to create a Christmas mini that is ready to go.  The papers are Christmas Memories with a little bit of the Christmas and winter Diecut stack, the Christmas basics 6x6 & the Burlap stack.
