Hey There!

December has been super busy, but I've been creating a lot. Here are a couple of layouts about a recent trip to Legoland and the Sealife!
I like to include memorabilia like the park maps and information we get in the entrance. It'll be fun to see how it changes over the years.

In this first layout, the background paper is from the embossed white stack. I used a couple pockets from an old DCWV release to add the ticket stubs, journaling and map. Anyone still hoarding those pockets? I sure am! No worries if you don't have a ready-made pocket though. A simple pocket can be made by folding a piece of your favorite DCWV paper around your memorabilia and adhering the bottom edge and the overlapping sides. You can use a punch around the open edge of the pocket to give it a unique look.

In this second layout, I used the Coastal stack and a pocket I got as a receipt holder for an online order. Yes, I keep those too! I put the aquarium map in the pocket, along with a journaling card and an extra photo. I love that quote included in the Coastal stack, "Adventure is the best way to learn." It sure is!

I hope I've inspired you to use and collect some memorabilia today, as you make memories this holiday season. Have a wonderful day!
