WOYWW 86
Hi WOYWWers!
How are you all this week? Doesn't Wednesday sneak up on you so suddenly?!
It's ok, I look forward to getting a peek at what you're all up to. A lot of you know I'm working on a Master's degree in Education, so sometimes there is nothing crafty going on on my desk. This week happens to be one of those but I found something to show you anyway!
The box is an interesting little item I acquired from my mom. She was going to throw it away. Can you believe it? It used to be filled with chocolates from Venezuela. It was a nice little souvenier from her boss. She ate all the chocolates of course, she shared and they were delicious. But she's not like me with the keeping of containers and things 'I might use.' I really don't know where I got the 'crafty' from lol. The embroidery floss is what I'm gonna be using to make some more crocheted embellishements in between work, school and homework. There's also some stamps I just cleaned :)
I've grouped everything onto my cutting mat beacause the rest of desk is messy and it's not the crafty kind of messy lol.
If you stumbled upon this, check out Julia's blog and it'll all make sense :)

What's inside the box? I've been making these embellishements for cards or scrapbooking to give away. Like some of you, I'm taking part in pay it forward. I figured I would get started on the hand made goodies:) There's some crocheted hearts, flowers and butterflies and some beaded pins. I'm thinking of adding some crocheted elements to my shop too.

I had never thought about combining crochet and card making. Maybe I should dig out my reels of glitter thread and do a few things for Christmas decorations. Thanks for the inspiration.
