Fall into summer

Hello!
Today I'm taking a much needed scrapbooking break! I finished this LO which I started a few days ago. We don't get much of the fall colors here in southern California. I really enjoy looking at pictures from people who live in places where the trees turn bright yellow, red and orange in the fall.
A few years ago, we went for a walk at the park with Zoe who was our only dog back then. It was a beautiful fall day and Zoe had a lot of fun running around on the leaves.
I got the leaves on my layout from a flower shop! Yes a flower shop! I thought I would probably never use them. But they were great for this LO! I took the picture before I did the journaling, but I noticed that the journaling really adds a little something!
I've been wanting to do this LO for a long time but what really got me going this time, were the rub-ons my friend sent me and that beautiful Amber Autumn Value Pack stack. I love it, I use it for all kinds of projects.
It's been so great to work on a fall project during a hot summer day, cools you down a bit :)

It's been so hot here the past few days. How's the weather in your piece of the world?

*edit*

I made a companion page, using the same supplies. I entered this one in the DCWV stack-a-holic challenge :)
