Trick or Treat!

Hello and welcome to the DCWV Too Cute To Spook Halloween Hop!!

TODAY the current DCWV Design Team is bringing you a group of projects that were made using the newest, cutest DCWV Halloween stack, Eek-a-Boo! Halloween is quickly approaching and it's time to turn your spooky crafting up to high gear!

I really had to get a head start because I have to mail some spooky treats for my nephew.

My little nephew moved about 8 hours away and we see him about twice a year. We used to see him about twice a month before. It's a big difference and we've taken to sending him good old snail mail to surprise him once in a while. This year, we're sending him a little Halloween box.

I'm not in favor of letting kids eat a ton of candy in one sitting. Neither is my sister in law. So what will I include in his Halloween box? Here's some healthier and fun ideas for Halloween treats:
-Super hero/character band aids
-Stickers
-'Growing' toys (grow in water)
-Multi colored or shaped crayons
-Glow in the dark stars
-Glow sticks
I always look in the dollar section at target and party city.
I'll also include some lollipops flavored with real fruit juice and some real fruit leather...and maybe some mini m&m's ;)

I also made another box for my friend. We both like chocolate, candy and sugar. I know she'll appreciate some fancy chocolates.

I used the 2 biggest boxes from the DCWV nested box set at Joann.

The potion jars, words and webs are hand cut from the Eek-a-Boo stack.
The frames and sequins are from the Halloween embellishment sets.

Thank you for joining us on this 'spooky' blog hop! Remember to leave a comment for a chance to win some yummy paper!

Here's the hop list:

Are you making something crafty for Halloween? I'd love to see. Leave me a link!

  23. Love the boxes. Perfect idea for Halloween gifts. I am not big on a load of candy either. For the kids birthdays we usually put healthy snacks and toys in treat bags and a couple of lollipops or neat looking candy but not a whole bag.

  24. Great boxes. Nope, I'm not doing any creating specifically for Halloween.

  25. What fab boxes! Love them. I'll be making little treat bags (perfect size for a couple of lollipops) for the trick or treaters. I just hope we get more than last year, because there were only two! (more than 50 the year before... I'm baffled).
