Hey there! This layout has a fun story behind it. We thought we would surprise my mom by not telling her that we were coming and by bringing a 'gag' cake as a joke before the real cake. I don't think either of those worked out. My step dad spilled the beans about the surprise visit and she actually liked the gag cake. Sigh! 




I used the Confetti stack and the Paint and Create stack heart of gold. The cute frames are from freckled fawn. I used a lot of enamel dots to simulate confetti. Great way to use up my stash.  How do you use your stash of enamel dots?

DCWV and Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft

I'm so excited about this blog hop! I've loved Faber-Castel products for a long time and it was so much fun to combine them with my favorite DCWV textures. Christmas with Clear Scraps & DCWV

I might have a LO or 2 about Christmas....Why? I just never get around to making more of them! The Holidays are usually too crazy and then I get into doing LOs of just ever day stuff or travel pics... and the holidays just get forgotten.  This year, I'm ready! I'll have the album pre-made, I just have to stick on the pictures and add some journaling! I used this 8x8 tabbed acrylic album from Clearscraps to create a Christmas mini that is ready to go.  The papers are Christmas Memories with a little bit of the Christmas and winter Diecut stack, the Christmas basics 6x6 & the Burlap stack.
